Entire Studios is really that brand right now. Its minimalist unisex designs have been worn by everyone from FKA Twigs to Hailey Bieber, and founders and designers Dylan Richards Diaz and Sebastian Hunt recently launched a second collaboration with Kylie Jenner’s clothing line, KHY. The label offers a variety of loungewear, suiting, and outwear, but it’s best known for draped tops, skirts, and dresses. We put these instantly recognizable designs to the test on five people with different body types and styles to see if they are as flattering as they look online.

What Did You Try? The Bound midi in small and the Bound top in small.
How Did It Fit? Really stretchy, slouchy, and oversize. I was a little scared when I unboxed these, to be honest. Even though the fabric is supersoft and high quality, it’s also extremely lightweight and thin, so I knew it would show everything. But when I finally figured out how to put them on (the longer side is actually the top part and goes over your head), I was pleasantly surprised by how flattering they were. Since each piece has so much extra fabric, there is room to play; I was able to manipulate the fit and customize it to my body type. I made the necklines asymmetrical since I have broad shoulders, and scrunched up fabric in certain areas to make the drape more flattering. Even though they looked better than I thought they would, I wasn’t completely comfortable in either one. The ultraloose fit didn’t hold me in or make me feel secure. I definitely should have sized down to an extra-small. (For reference: I’m a true size 4 in bottoms and usually between sizes 4 and 6 in dresses.)
Would You Buy It? I would not buy the top — I have a pretty short torso and the draping accentuated that — but I would probably buy the dress in a smaller size. It’s a fun take on the classic black dress and unlike anything else in my closet. I also think I would feel more secure in a size that hugs my body better.

What did you try? The Bound midi in small.
How did it fit? Knowing that the brand’s M.O. is relaxed and oversize, I was a little confused about what size to try. I am normally between a small and medium in most things, so I decided to go with a small for this, and it worked out great. The body of the dress fit like a glove. However, I struggled with arranging the ruched fabric of the dress, which features excess fabric around the neck opening. At one point, I even had it backward with the slit at the bottom of the dress facing front. Apart from the style of the dress, the fabric is super-stretchy and so comfortable. You can lounge in the dress just as easily as you can hit the town. Overall, I love how it accented my curves with the ruching across my body in all the right places.
Would you buy it? Yes! As someone with curves who loves a good throw-on dress that goes easily over the hips, I would buy this formfitting midi. I’m even curious to try the brand’s Surge skirt, which looks similar to the dress.

What did you try? The Bound top in medium and the Structured skirt in large.
How did it fit? A few months ago, I sat across from our fashion writer, Danya Issawi, at a dinner, and she had on the Bound top. It looked so good that I wouldn’t stop asking her about it. Since then, I’ve been dying to get my hands on one. Entire Studios is oversize and playful, which is my whole thing. The top was great, though I could’ve sized down to a small for a tighter fit across my chest. However, the medium is perfect to play around with. I knew how to put it on since I spent some time in the showroom (the ruched side is on the bottom). I was nervous about the skirt, but I loved it, especially all together. It fits so well and really complimented the top. Plus, the brown is gorgeous.
Would you buy it? I’d for sure buy the top, but I don’t think I’d get the skirt. It’s just too hard for me to walk in for me to feel like it’s worth the price, but I will be wearing it whenever I have a gala event with car service to and from.

What did you try? The Bound top in medium.
How did it fit? I’m usually in between sizes when it comes to Entire Studios and haven’t quite figured out my go-to yet, but in this instance, I got a medium and am so happy I did. I wear this top with everything and use the extra fabric in a million ways. I always let the sleeves dangle at least midway onto my hands, Ariana Grande style, just because I can. If you know me, you’ve seen me wear this top in the past month. I wore it twice this week. It’s incredibly stretchy and breathable, and I’ve never seen anyone look bad in it!
Would you buy it? Yes, I genuinely wish I could have this top in every color and then own the dress in every color as well. You can dress it up or down. This is the top I throw on when I want to feel myself, and nothing hits as hard as that.

What did you try: The Bound top in small and the Surge skirt in medium.
How did it fit: I buy Entire Studios often, so I know that the fit isn’t just oversize but extremely oversize, so I usually size down in its pieces. I got a small in the top and it’s still quite spacious with a lot of gathering, but it’s so long that I could wear it as a dress. I love the slouchy fit of it, but I expected it to be a bit less slouchy. I’d style it with an oversize pair of pants, too, for an extremely oversize look. The skirt fit perfectly. Because I have an hourglass shape, it’s easy for my body to get lost in slouchy pieces, but the snug fit of the skirt and the ruched waist was the perfect juxtaposition against the top. The length was also perfect. I’m short (five-one), so it’s usually hard for me to find a maxi skirt that grazes the ground (with or without heels) without dragging.
Would you buy it: Absolutely. In every single color. I buy Entire Studios often because it’s the perfect fit for both of my style moods: either extremely oversize or body hugging and sexy with a bit of edge. I’d probably size down to an extra-small in the top for a bit less slouchiness, but I’d buy it over and over again. The quality is also great for the price point.
