TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner, 18, and rapper Tyga, 26, have officially broken up after two-odd years of dating. This is great news for the Woman Soon to Be Formerly Known As Blac Chyna, because it clears her complicated path toward becoming Ms. Angela Kardashian.
Tyga and Kylie broke up just before the Met Gala, according to TMZ. Both attended the event, but sources say “Kylie was bent out of shape that Tyga had the nerve to go … He was only invited because of her, and she’s mad at herself that she didn’t think to have him made persona non grata.”
TMZ also reports that “Tyga took his mom and a model to Mother’s Day lunch … and he’s not telling his friends whether she’s his new GF.”
As everyone in the English-speaking world knows, Chyna used to be engaged to Tyga and had a son with him. Now, in a turn of events only God himself could script, she is engaged to Kylie’s brother Rob Kardashian. And she’s pregnant. When she marries Rob, Chyna plans to change her name to Angela Kardashian — you know, for business.
Kylie and Tyga have broken up (at least) once before, so there’s a possibility this won’t stick. Fingers crossed for Angela.
