Scruffy jawbone Jamie Dornan fears that the power dynamics of his relationship with the movie-going public may be off-balance. The star of the upcoming major motion picture 50 Shades of Grey told Mary Kaye Schilling at Details:
“I almost don’t want to put this out there into the ether, but I fear I’ll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere. Because a lot of people are very angry that I’m playing this character. And I’m a father now, and a husband. I don’t want to die yet. And when I do get murdered, people will say, ‘God, isn’t it haunting how he did that interview in Details magazine and predicted his own death on the red carpet?’”
Whoa, that got dark! It should be noted that Dornan spent a good portion of the interview slaying antelopes in the Big Buck Hunter arcade game. Perhaps he hoped to deploy this as a signal of his fighting spirit? Or maybe all this talk of death is functioning as some sort of old-timey signal for orgasms? Who really knows anything anymore.
