Damien Hirst’s Backpacks for the Row Are Selling Fast

The Olsens + Hirst, immortalized.
The Olsens + Hirst, immortalized.

Remember the Row’s $39,000 crocodile backpacks, which sold out soon after hitting stores last fall? They’re now being reprised in collaboration with artist Damien Hirst, who updated twelve of the backpacks with taxidermied creatures prescription pills and polka dots. Available on e-commerce site Just One Eye, the backpacks are $55,000 each and have all been signed by Hirst. A rep from Just One Eye informs us that “a large portion” of the bags’ proceeds will benefit UNICEF, and four have been sold already.

What you’ll get for your money:

Like hotcakes, they are!
