WWD writes that it will be the designer’s first appearance at fashion week since 2005. Cole said, “The world is changing so much, the purpose of a runway has changed … We’re thinking about it in a way that makes sense … how to make it more timely, more relevant.” But what’s more timely and relevant than forcing a bunch of models to walk the plank in clothing that regular people can’t buy for months? Anyone?
