After lots of quibbling with the organizers of Milan Fashion Week, the CFDA and BFC have officially settled on fashion week dates for New York and London for the next two years. According to a press release, these dates will “allow for designer brands and businesses in all four fashion capitals (New York, London, Milan, and Paris) to successfully plan for the long term.” In other words, Milan and Paris will hopefully cooperate. Here are the confirmed dates, should you need to plan your life around them:
New York Fashion Week: September 6 – 13, 2012
London Fashion Week: September 14 – 18, 2012
New York Fashion Week: February 7 – 14, 2013
London Fashion Week: February 15 – 19, 2013
New York Fashion Week: September 5 – 12, 2013
London Fashion Week: September 13 – 17, 2013
New York Fashion Week: February 6 – 13, 2014
