Exclusive First Look: Video of Ellen von Unwerth’s Circus-Themed Photo Shoot for Lula

Previously, she was the senior features editor at Harper's Bazaar and a senior editor at the Cut. She was also the editorial director for MM.LaFleur. Her work has also been published in Glamour, Art in America, Politico, and other places.

For Lula magazine’s thirteenth issue, Ellen von Unwerth shot an editorial titled “Giffords Circus”, which depicts model Rasa Zukauskaite posing with carnies. It has that wistful, fairy tale–esque Lula vibe to it, particularly when Zukauskaite models with live white doves, but then there’s a scene where she gets chased by someone wearing a bear costume. Also, there’s cotton candy, flying knives, and a fiddle-y soundtrack.
