The British Fashion Council Wants to Make London Fashion Week Longer

Just like every other city’s ready-to-wear fashion weeks, London Fashion Week is not an actual week (it’s just five days), and the British Fashion Council is trying to extend it. “We are quite an establishment now, and we need more time,” said BFC chairman Harold TIllman. They won’t say exactly how much more time they want, but they’re currently discussing the matter with their counterparts in New York, Paris, and Milan. [WWD ]
