Jalen Hurts is the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted by the team in 2020 after playing college football at the University of Alabama and the University of Oklahoma.
Hurts was born on August 7, 1998 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in an athletic environment, having been coached by his father while attending Channelview High School. Hurts’ brother, Aversion Jr. played college football at Texas Southern.
In 2020, Hurts was drafted by the Eagles in the second round of the NFL draft, and has remained with the team since. He made his Super Bowl debut with the team during the 2022-23 season in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles fell just short of the championship title, with a 38-35 Super Bowl loss.
The 2024-25 season brought a familiar challenge, with the Eagles and Chiefs facing off once again during Super Bowl LIX.
