Happy 4th of July to Vanessa Hudgens and her baby specifically! Congratulations are in order for the High School Musical actress and husband Cole Tucker, who welcomed their first child this week, per “Page Six.” While unclear when exactly Baby Hudgens was born, the outlet obtained photos of the new mom cradling her little one while she was wheeled out of a Santa Monica hospital by hospital staff on Wednesday. Tucker, a former Colorado Rockies baseball player who is now signed with the Los Angeles Angels, trailed behind his wife and newborn holding their bags.
Wednesday also happened to be Tucker’s 28th birthday (okay, Cancer king). Hudgens, of course, somehow found the time to get an Instagram post up in his honor despite having very recently birthed a human. “Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck,” she wrote. “You make the world a brighter place just by being you.”
After two years of dating, Hudgens and Tucker married in December 2023. The 35-year-old announced her pregnancy several months later by wearing a baby bump-conscious gown while hosting the Oscars red carpet in March. All in all, it seems like Baby V is getting her fairytale ending after having to endure ex Austin Butler’s method acting as he prepared to play Elvis in the 2022 Baz Luhrmann biopic. Plus, having a baby just in time for America’s birthday? Now that’s an all-American love story.
