Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are married! While appearing on the BBC’s The One Show on Tuesday, Brown’s new father-in-law, Jon Bon Jovi, said that his son and the Stranger Things actress recently tied the knot in an intimate celebration.
“They are great, they are absolutely fantastic,” Bon Jovi said. “It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be,” he said, confirming rumors that the couple had tied the knot. While Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22, haven’t said anything about the wedding, they were spotted walking around the Hamptons on Monday with their wedding rings, per People.
The couple sparked dating rumors in the summer of 2021 after Bongiovi posted a selfie of them together in a car with the caption “bff <3.” They hard-launched their relationship a few months later, with Brown posting a photo of Bongiovi kissing her during a ride on the London Eye. They revealed their engagement last spring, with Brown captioning a photo of them embracing with the Taylor Swift lyrics: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all,” from the song “Lover.” She later told Jimmy Fallon that Bongiovi proposed underwater while they were on a diving trip.
Asked by WWD about wedding planning, Brown said she was keeping things private because “there are only so many moments in life that you get only once.” She added: “I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.” Congrats to the newlyweds on their marriage and on successfully pulling off a secret celebrity wedding.
