Congratulations are in order for the Hills alums Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who are expecting their second child together. “After all we’ve been through, I really consider this our miracle baby,” Montag told Us Weekly. “I think every baby is a miracle baby.”
Montag, 35, and Pratt, 38, share one son together, 4-year-old Gunner Stone. Over the past several months, Montag has been open about the couple’s struggles to conceive a second child, sharing the difficulties on Instagram and vlogging a uterine procedure she had in August in the hopes of increasing her chances of getting pregnant. When Montag was photographed eating raw bison heart in Los Angeles in March, she explained to People that she’d been “trying to get pregnant for over a year and a half” and was “willing to try different things,” to bolster her fertility—including, evidently, eating “sushi-style” organs. Apparently both (!) Pratts have continued eating organs in the Speidi fertility journey: “My wife started eating testicles,” Pratt told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “I ate testicles as well. Hers were raw, mine weren’t.”
I can’t say I want to see anyone bite into a testicle, raw or otherwise, but I’m happy for the Pratts and the incoming Speidibaby, who will no doubt have a well-researched social-media handle awaiting them and will likely be birthed into a sea of Pratt Daddy crystals. Maybe Heidi will even read them a book?
