For once it’s not brutal out here for Olivia Rodrigo, who showed up to her first Grammy Awards red carpet in a black custom Viviene Westwood gown, bedazzled with a pink body outline. And, in true ’90s fashion, Rodrigo paired the gown with layered necklaces — a black choker with pink crystals and a chunkier pink necklace — as well as some very posh opera gloves.

The 19-year-old had a breakout year, featuring her first album Sour and a sold-out tour. (She also just premiered her concert film Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u on Disney+.) As a result, she was up for seven Grammys, including Best New Artist, and Album of the Year. Her first hit, “drivers license,” was also up for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, with “Good 4 U” nominated for Best Music Video.

Along with a handful of other artists, Rodrigo actually won a Grammy before the televised show even started, taking home the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for “drivers license.” She later performed the hit track during the show before taking the stage to accept the award for Best New Artist. “This is my biggest dream come true,” she said. She also took home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.

Rodrigo hasn’t exactly had a normal Grammys weekend so far. While her peers in the Best New Artist category (including Saweetie, FINNEAS, and Japanese Breakfast) celebrated at Spotify’s new-artist showcase on Saturday, Rodrigo reportedly wasn’t allowed to attend because she’s too young — it was 21-and-over only. Win or lose, the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star will hopefully be allowed to attend an after-party or two after her first Grammys.
