It never hurts to get recommendations from people with professionally good taste. A fine example: Celine’s artistic director, Hedi Slimane. After crossing music buff and scent connoisseur off the taste-making checklist, the designer is adding cinema aficionado. He’s now curated a selection of films to watch through an online streaming service made for art-house-film lovers called Mubi.

The list includes the kinds of films you’d want to bring up at a dinner party to show off your exceptional taste. Four of them are available to stream through May 31 with a 30-day free trial: Laurence Anyways by Xavier Dolan, Night Tide by Curtis Harrington, Charade by Stanley Donen, and Le Cercle Rouge by Jean-Pierre Melville. The other six films on his list aren’t available to stream in the United States, but you could get crafty and find them elsewhere.

Watch now on Mubi here, and see the rest of Slimane’s picks below:

Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola, 1979)
Paris, Texas (Wim Wenders, 1984)
Persona (Ingmar Bergman, 1966)
