After a dinner during which everyone found a chicken pot pie emblazoned with “VOTE” on their plates, the husband-and-wife team Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock of the two-year-old line Brock Collection won the top honors (including a $400,000 prize) at last night’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition. Stirling Barrett, of the New Orleans–based eyewear brand Krewe du Optic, and Adam Selman were the runners-up, each receiving a $150,000 allotment.
The other contestants competing in this year’s crowded field: Area’s Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk, Chloe Gosselin, Ji Oh, Morgan Curtis of Morgan Lane, Newbark’s Maryam and Marjan Malakpour, Laura Chandler and Joshua Cooper of Rochambeau, and Chris Stamp of Stampd. The judging panel included Jenna Lyons and Diane von Furstenberg.
