Organizers of the Rio Games are providing a total of 450,000 condoms for athletes, and while there are (allegedly noisy) dispensers in the Olympic Village, there are also people walking around with giant, clear bags full of rubbers. It is a beautiful sight.
SB Nation reporter Rodger Sherman met a condom-runner named Eric on his way to refilling one of said dispensers.
The clear bags are probably for security reasons, but it’s nice to think that if an athlete spots one of these condom pack mules, they could stop them and grab a few.
