All the Best Looks From the ESPYs 2016 Red Carpet

Almost everyone seemed to be wearing black on the ESPY Awards red carpet last night in Los Angeles: Lindsay Vonn in a sequin jumpsuit, Dwayne Wade in Givenchy, his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, in a sheer August Getty Atelier gown, and so many others.

Guests who didn’t wear black had some of the freshest looks, like newlyweds Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The two made their red carpet debut as a married couple wearing actual summer colors, Ciara in a long-sleeve gown by Cavalli Couture. Others who didn’t wear black: Jessie James in red culottes, Usher in crushed velvet, and Kevin Durant’s mom Wanda in a billowy yellow dress.

The Arthur Ashe Courage Award (Caitlyn Jenner’s last year) went to late 15-year-old Tennessee high-school football player Zaevion Dobson, who was shot to death while shielding three girls from gunfire; his mother gave a moving speech. Vice President Joe Biden presented sportscaster Craig Sager with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award for his battle with cancer.
