Summer at the Cabin, Captured Upstate

For the Cut’s latest Out of the Box feature, Tim Barber was one of six photographers to capture his friends wearing some of the season’s best swimsuits. For his portfolio, he invited a group of friends to spend Memorial Day weekend at his upstate cabin in Delhi, New York, where they barbecued and made bonfires.

“I’m staying up here in the country for most of the summer,” he says. “I have a small cabin up on the hillside, at the end of a dead-end road. There’s a little pond to swim in. It was superhot, really nice weather, so we were swimming a lot. It was just perfect all weekend.”
