This Old Navy ad featuring an interracial family has outraged some racist internet trolls. When the clothing retailer released the ad on Friday, the awful people of the internet took to to Twitter to tell Old Navy their opinions on the whole ordeal:
Come on, terrible internet lurkers. First you mess with Cheerios, and now Old Navy and its unbeatable sales? Back off.
But Grace Mahary, the woman featured in the ad, sent out her own response, saying: “In light of the controversy revolving around my pretend family… I am proud to be representing interracial love, multiculturalism, and most importantly, a mentality that supports opportunity for all ethnicities. Thanks @oldnavy 🙆🏾 #lovewins #hatefreezone 💛.”
