Triple Crown favorite Nyquist won the 142nd Kentucky Derby on Saturday, clinching victory nearly two seconds faster than last year’s much-celebrated winner American Pharoah. Off the racetrack, a colorful crowd stopped by photographer Ron Berg’s photo booth wearing an array of pastels, sundresses, and whimsical hats adorned in extravagant feathers, flowers, and delicate tulle.
Miss Kentucky wore an elegant floral dress and one man went shirtless with a Budweiser can, while other men wore suits in bubblegum-pink, paint-splattered fabric, and leopard prints. Click ahead for a look at the weekend’s most colorful and eccentric racegoers.
