Dior’s resort 2014 show walked in Monte Carlo this weekend, conveniently located close enough to Cannes that stars like Liv Tyler, Marion Cotillard, and Jessica Biel could squeeze in the hour-long car trip between glamorous red-carpet appearances. But it was Princess Charlene of Monaco who got the honor of wearing a dress just minutes after it appeared on the runway (with a little more nipple coverage, for obvious reasons).
Highlights from the show itself included lots of sheer layers worn over visible high-waisted panties made of shiny white satin, reminiscent of Kristen Stewart’s ill-fated Erdem dress from last year. There were also lots of asymmetrical zipper details, as well as trendy crop tops and even a midriff peephole or two.
