See Chanel Iman, Karolina Kurkova, Joan Smalls, and More in Carine Roitfeld’s Pin-up Calendar for VMAN

As a bonus portion of her guest-edited issue of VMAN, Carine Roitfeld wrangled a bunch of models (all of whom also happen to be Victoria’s Secret angels) for a pin-up-inspired calendar. Shot by Willy Vanderperre, it’s sort of like the Pirelli calendar except the women aren’t naked. Instead, they’re all wearing pantyhose both on their legs (like a normal person) and on their heads, sort of like what Daphne Guinness does with veils sometimes, only she manages to make it look less stocking-like. What a novel idea, though! Let’s be honest, a paper bag was never really a viable solution for a bad hair or pimple day, but a sheer stocking hat? That could probably even get you shot by a street style photographer. See the full calendar in our slideshow.
