There were surely a few less Christian Dior gowns on last night’s Met Gala red carpet than years past. Ashley Olsen wore a vintage Christian Dior dress, but absent were any of disgraced designer John Galliano’s recent pieces. As the designer prepares to go to court next week for hearings prior to his public slander trial in France for allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks to a couple in a Parisian café, his spokesman reveals that his Jewish lawyer Stephane Zerbib has been fired.
