In addition to his role with FNC, Caldwell is the founder of Caldwell Strategic Consulting, a bipartisan public affairs and government relations firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. Gianno’s first book, TAKEN FOR GRANTED: How Conservatism Can Win Back the Americans That Liberalism Failed recounts his childhood in a south side of Chicago neighborhood plagued by violence, poverty and drugs, including his mother’s addiction.

In 2022, Gianno’s brother, Christian, was tragically murdered during a drive-by shooting in Chicago. Christian was just eighteen and an innocent bystander. This profound loss inspired Gianno to establish the Caldwell Institute for Public Safety at www.CaldwellInstitute.org, which is dedicated to addressing the pervasive issue of crime and its impact on communities across the whole country. Through this institute, Gianno aims to develop and promote policies that enhance public safety and provide support for those affected by violent crime. Through the Caldwell Institute for Public Policy, Gianno Caldwell continues his lifelong commitment to public safety and community betterment, striving to create a safer, more just society for all.
