Travis Hunter is a wide receiver for the Colorado Buffaloes. His father, Travis Sr., was a semi-pro football player in the Southern State Football League. During his high school career, Travis was the top pick nationally in his class and was the highest-rated recruit to commit to a historically Black college/university.
His team won a state title and set the Georgia state record for receiving touchdowns. He started his career with the Jackson State Tigers for the 2022-2023 season at Jackson State University, playing both cornerback and wide receiver positions, but then transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder for the past two football seasons.
